General Information
Action Summary The purpose of the proposed action is to reissue the existing Virginia Pollution Abatement General Permit for Confined Animal Feeding Operations which governs the authorization to manage pollutants from confined animal feeding operations, including storage and land application of animal waste. This action is not related to implementation of the Federal CAFO Rule.

Executive Branch Review This Action is exempt from Article 2 of the Administrative Process Act. The normal executive branch review process is not required. As such, it can be submitted directly for publication and is effective upon publication.
