| Purpose of the meeting A meeting open to the public to discuss general business matters requiring Board action. However, portions of the meeting may be held in closed session, pursuant to ยง2.2-3711 of the Code of Virginia. The Board will consider adoption of a Notice of Intended Regulatory Action (NOIRA) to promulgate regulations on pesticide registration requirements. The Board will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to 2 VAC 20-40-10 through 2 VAC 20-40-120, Regulations Governing Licensing of Pesticide Businesses Operating Under the Authority of the Virginia Pesticide Control Act. The board will entertain public comment at the beginning of the meeting on all other business for a period not to exceed 30 minutes. Any person desiring to attend the meeting, and requiring special accommodations in order to participate in the meeting, should contact the person identified in this notice at least five days before the meeting date so that suitable arrangements can be made for any appropriate accommodation. | |||
