| Purpose of the meeting Secure Services Committee and Non-Secure Services Committee meet at 8:30; full Board convenes at 9:30 to 1) act on certification of programs; 2) rescind outdated or duplicative policies; 3) approve issuance of proposed amendments to Certification Standards (6 VAC 35-20-10 et seq.), including scheduling a public hearing on the proposed standards; 4) approve Virginia Community Crime Control Act plans submitted by localities; and 5) elect Board officers and schedule Board meetings for 2001. After the meeting, Board members will tour The Judgment, the boat program operated by Tidewater Marine Institute. | |||
