Purpose of the meeting Working Group meeting to explore best practices in implementing Senate Joint Resoloution 277, Acts of Assembly (2013 regular session). SJ 277 directed the Virginia Secretary of Public Safety to establish a Statewide Traffic Incident Management Committee to coordinate the adoption and implementation of the National Unified Goal for Traffic Incident Management by highway and emergency response personnel in order to mitigate highway incidents and improve incident response in the Commonwealth. | |
