| Purpose of the meeting The purpose of this meeting is to receive public comments (pursuant to §4VAC25-130-773.13(c) of the Virginia Coal Surface Mining Reclamation Regulations) on the permit renewal application by A & G Coal Corporation to continue to conduct surface coal mining and reclamation operations under Permit No. 1101914. The permit area comprises 2,784.49 acres and is located approximately 0.5 mile west of Roda, Virginia on Black Mountain in Wise County. The renewal application has been submitted under §4VAC25-130-774.15 of the Virginia Coal Surface Mining Reclamation Regulations. | |||
