Speaking as a patient  and not a dental professional, I am appalled that the State of Virginia would lower it's standards in the medical field. I have read other comments from professionals in the State and agree that opening the door to other states where certification meets or exceeds the standards of the State of Virginia would be the way to solve this issue. This would insure that the standards in this medical field would not be compromised.
