I beleive this is a bad idea. We can make the most beautiful and durable prostheses outside the oral environment, but once it is in the mouth, all bets are off. The oral environment is a very harsh one, and we do not have control over all the variables that affect the longevity of the prostheses we make for our patients (their diet, their habits, their choice not to use occlusal guards, their biological predispositions, etc).
