Please do not adopt as written: While measuring student growth is important, assessments for growth from mastery to expertise for gifted learners is very complex and currently there are not reliable measures developed. Until this is the case, this should not be part of the regulation. Furthermore, please change the word "and" to "or" in the requirement to serve students in all four subject areas. Many best practice resources for gifted students integrate the disciplines. Separating out the subject areas would be a step backwards.
