As a Transgender woman it is a safety issue for me to use a men's restroom. I regularly wear makeup and have long hair and wear clothes aligned with my gender identity. I have heard numerous people argue that we pose a danger in the bathroom. In reality most of us are just trying to do our business and get out. I speak for myself but I am not there to harass anyone in the bathroom. It is important that me along with others have a safe restroom to use in line with my gender identity.
