I live in Haymarket VA and I oppose Action 4905.

There are real public health issues facing women and girls in Virginia, like violence, economic hardship, and reproductive health access.  Don’t let this hateful petition distract from your important mission to protect the health and promote the well-being of ALL people in Virginia.

I have a family member in the trans community. She is in no way a danger to anyone. She just wants to be able to use a rest room with dignity and privacy without being harassed. 

Please, the proposal, especially the bathroom policy, is misguided. This will lead to confusion, mis-identification, and needless harm, to trans people, and to cis people that do not optically fit to social norms.  Enforcement alone of such a policy would be near impossible.

Please focus on other more important issues for all Virginians, as this is just a witch hunt, boggy man scare tactic from the Right.  Polls in Virginia show, again and again that trans people concerns are at the absolute bottom of their concerns, and I suspect that if those polls had an option to say they support trans access, that would be an over whelming selection.
