As a transgender American, I am sickened to see the wave of anti-trans legislation spreading to Virginia. Especially with a bill that explicitly targets my transgender sisters. Every single transgender woman I’ve met has been a kind, caring soul who would never hurt anyone. Why the legislators of this country, who are supposed to be protecting vulnerable populations, insist on continually humiliating and abusing transgender women who just need to use the bathroom is beyond me. Anyone voting in favor of this bill should be ashamed at themselves and their own cowardice in capitulating to the tyrannical Republican Administration besieging this country!
