I've met so many trans people who've told me that specifically fled to Virginia to be safe in their skin. Attacking their use of public restrooms ensures they stay unsafe and in hiding. Cis men will NOT be treating trans femme individuals well when they ultimately have to enter the men's room. They'll be subject to violence and hate and forced into a place they don't belong.
