Giving the Board of Health a mandate to police “women’s spaces” puts all women under increased scrutiny and pressure and does not make any women safer. It is a waste of time and money and turns the Board of Health into a political tool, lowering Virginians’ trust in the commonwealth to take their real health and safety concerns seriously. This is a bad idea and should not go forward.
