Remove OWD

I strongly advocate for the removal of Objective Written Documentation. As a live-in caregiver, we are often the last line of defense when all other options have been exhausted. We have tirelessly attempted to hire external caregivers, only to encounter unreliable attendants—those who don’t show up, leave early, or spend more time on their phones than caring for our loved ones. This perpetual struggle to secure dependable care leaves us with no choice but to take on the responsibility ourselves. As devoted family members, we seek what anyone would want for their special needs loved ones: reliable, safe, and consistent care. When that can’t be found externally, we must turn inward. Objective written documentation is just another bureaucratic obstacle in our way, an unnecessary barrier that penalizes live-in caregivers for doing what’s necessary. We step in when others step out; we should not be burdened with additional red tape.
