If this effort is allowed and commercial fishing separation water is deemed a source of pollution, then all recreational and commercial fisheries would be impacted. We all pull water with our catch onto fishing vessel and that water eventually makes its way back overboard through drain plugs, bilge pumps, or washdown systems, which is all done currently done without a permit. Is this truly about protecting the Chesapeake Bay or is this another avenue in attempt to shut down a fishing industry that has been around for over 100 years.
