There should be no mitigation because there should NOT be enough data centers approved to have this issue to begin with. Northern Virginia, specifically Prince William County, has failed its citizens with allowing SO many data centers to be initially approved, in construction, and/or already in use. The ludicrous volume of data centers (per unit area) and their constant water and energy usage has the very real potential to cause brown outs for citizens if the upcoming requests for further data center construction and zoning approvals are made. However, that DOES NOT mean DEQ should loosen its policies protecting environmental quality. It means that further data center construction should STOP so we abate the brown-out potential BEFORE it starts.
