Chapter Information
Description The Virginia State Parks Regulations are effective within all state parks, historical and natural areas, roads, sites and other recreational areas in the Commonwealth under the jurisdiction of the Department of Conservation and Recreation. The regulations are intented to regulate all persons using these lands and waters. The regulations address: aviation; bathing; boating; camping; cabin use; charges; commercial enterprises; disorderly conduct and public nuisance; dogs and other animals; firearms; explosives, and fires; hours of operation; hunting and fishing; permits; picnic areas; park preservation; refuse and rubbish; sports and games; and traffic and parking.
