Allow firearms in parks

My rights as a citizen shouldn't be infringed on by any rule, regulation or law that forbids me the right to self defense while on or in any state lands. I have an inherent right to protect myself and my family from all forms of harm or danger. Beyond the dangers that come from nature in the state parks dangers from others such as men that seek to harm others, criminals now have a growing enterprise of marijuana production in national and state parks. Those that engage in these activities know that law abiding people are for the most part defenseless in the parks. Many illegal growing operations have guards on scene to protect their crop and won't hesitate to shoot and kill anyone who comes across their gardens as they are called. Regardless of whether they're law enforcement or civilians. There have also been an increase in attacks on women in the national and state parks because of the defensless position that people are placed in by entereing the parks. This is unacceptable as the officers in charge of protecting the parks and the people in them can't be everywhere with every hiker or camper. Law abiding people aren't an issue or a threat. We only want protect ourselves from any danger while camping or hiking. I support allowing law abiding citizens the right of open and concealed carry of firearms in our state and national parks.

Thank You,

Robert D. DuBois
