I echo the sentiments of many of the other comment entries here. With the unpredictibility of crisis situations, more flexability should be built in, not less. Shortening the duration and adding a burdensome re-assessment every 7 days will serve to diminish access to this critical program. Our agency is already trying to create an ES workflow that makes sense of these multiple SSPI's. Our ES providers must provide an SSPI for Crisis intervention, then in the same session, complete another one, if the individual is diverted to crisis stabilization. This seven day SSPI adds yet another cumbersome step in crisis services and will net very little gain in new data. In general, we would like to see some attention given to improving the SSPI requirements so they are not so taxing on both service providers and those receving services. Thank you.
