I can think of no reason why handgun carry should not be allowed in our state forests.  We have the right to protect ourselves there just as much as anywhere else in America.  And the 2nd Ammendment applies there as well.  And if we have gone thru the process of lawful application for the concealed carrying of a weapon, we should be able to carry there as well.  There should be no special distinction for state forestland in this matter.
