I strongly support this petition, and see no reason why permit holders should not have the same right to carry in State Forests as they do in other public places.  This right is already afforded to citizens on National Forest property.  This an identical situation on State Forest property.  Please allow citizens to protect themselves in remote and seldom-frequented areas of the public lands where they are most vulnerable.  Gun-free areas attract and embolden mischief-makers.
