To Whom it May Concern:

Yes, please support extending the CCW privelidge for a lawful permit holder into national forest areas.

I hike and geo-cache with my wife and daughter in the national forests, and yes, I would feel MUCH safer for them and myself if I could lawfully carry, should I feel the need for safety reasons.  Given the facts that (A) the recreational and hiking areas are typically rather remote; (b) law enforcement is usually far away; (C) cell phone access for law enforcement is usually not available; and (D) there is an EXTREMELY LOW occurance of a properly licensed permit holder acting inappropriately while carrying, I firmly support extending the rights.

For the record, it's not the four legged animals that we're worried about, it's the two legged ones.
