very much opposed

This is a rediculous suggestion. LVTs go through years of schooling to not only how, but what to watch for and complications associated with an IVC. This is a way for management to cut personnel costs, but it will severely impact patient care. I have seen a few dogs who have severe scarring in their veins from inexperienced staff drawing blood, let alone a catheter. This restricts our ability to provide venous access in case of emergency or hospitalization.

We wouldn't let someone without a degree stick a needle in us, why should we allow that in our clients fur babies?
