I don't have time to count all the commenters for and against, but it clear by skimming the comments page that the supporters of the rule to allow handguns in state forests have rendered the opponents statistically insignificant.

To deny such a rule at this point would be to deny the will of the citizens. The page showing the summary of results has been archived. Lets not play any games, like the feds are doing with the petition for national parks. No extension of comment period, with a sudden reversal of sway in said comments. We are watching.
