We all know that whatever "rules" are made, only the honest and lawabiding citizens are going to care about knowing them or following them.  The dangerous armed criminal who may target a robbery, rape, or murder victim on state forest land is not going to have a change of heart due to the state forest rules for handgun carry.   So please let the honest and lawabiding people of Virginia have the option of protecting themselves while enjoying the state forest lands.
