I wholeheartedly support the lawful carry of handguns in State Forests(and everywhere else for that matter).

Recent headlines have shown that crime and assaults do not stop at the forest's boundry.  Just as I carry a fire extiinguisher, first aid kit, and spare tire I should be able to carry a means to protect my family from assault however unlikely that is to happen.  As with the other itmes I never want to be in a position to need them and not have them.
