Keep Confederate Statues

In regards to Confederate Monuments on Monument Avenue in Richmond Virginia, they need to be left alone because they’re in honor of these men that fought for Virginia!  As a native Virginian I find it utterly ridiculous that people are so easily offended by these monuments.  Well they don’t need to be contextualized or removed because to put it plainly they’re protected by state law.  They also teach tourists and people that come to Richmond about our heritage and heroes that we hold dear here in the Commonwealth.  I believe that they attract more people than deter, so again leave our Southern history, heritage, and culture alone!!
