From the begining I will tell you I'm totally against it. I've read through some of the dentist responces and on the surface some sound reasonable. If you think about it deeper you releize that we as consumers have been spread this type of reasoning for quite awhile though and just about 100% of the time, the cost doesn't go down, only the quality of service. One dentist response was that this works because when he was a dentist in the military this was being done. I to was in the military and was not real happy with the dental service I received back then, but then you didn't have a choice. I was told that a DAII wouldn't be able to go deeper than 3 millimeters below the gum. This would result in not a very thorough cleaning. I was talking to my Dental Hygienists and was told that there is a waiting list to go to school for the job. Why don't we provide more schools for this, since we do have a lot of people looking for new careers and not mess with good careers that already exist. Thankyou for your time, Alan Keehn
