No patient wants dental assistants with sharp instruments!!!
I have read most of the comments to date about the proposal to allow dental assistants to scale and of all the comments for the idea came from dentist, and from those opposed, I saw many from patients, but I saw no consumer who was a proponent of the proposal. I wonder why? Do you suppose that this might not be in their best interest???
