I decided to become a Dental Hygienist later in life.  I did this because I was very, very interested in teeth and the well-being of patient's.  In my opinion, I feel that if there are assistant's that want to BECOME hygienist's--FINE!!!  Let them return to college to receive their education and then become a hygienist.  I decided to NOT be an assistant because of mixed reasons.  Mainly because I like the fact that someone is NOT watching over me most of the time.  Granted, I appreciate and know that the assistant's I work with are very educated in lots of areas that I am not, but that goes both ways.  They are appreciated SO MUCH BY ME!!!  Please DO NOT pass this DENTAL ASS'T. II for many, many reasons.  Thank you!
