Dear VA Board of Denistry,
Please consider the training involved that we, as Dental Hygienists go through to be able to do the things that we do. As most of the readers/writers of these comments are aware, the schooling required for a REGISTED DENTAL HYGIENIST is not an easy feat, learning down to the smallest detail about head and neck atamony, community health, pharmacology, dental hygiene I,II and III, IV, CLINIC, to name just a few classes. To think that anyone could come in a be trained "in house" to do the things we do is absured.
I ask that you truly consider what the passing of this document/bill could do, not only to our patients and their oral health as well as overall health, but to our PROFESSION as well.
Thanks
Marci McClellan, RDH. Roanoke, VA
