No to DA II Scaling!

Patient care and their oral health should be our number one concern. If this obsurd law is passed this will result in decreasing  the standard of care in the health care system. Only dental hygienists have recieved the proper clinical and didactic training for scaling supragingival and subgingival calculus. Patients rely on hygienists to not only clean their teeth, but to educated them about their oral health as well. Our patients have come to expect quality dental care by professionally trained providers.Would you want an undertrained individual providing our medical care? NO! Neither does the public want an undertrained individual providing their dental care. I Strongly Oppose DAT II being allowed to scale teeth on any level or circumstance!
