I am opposing new regulation to allow DA ll to perform any scaling procedures.  I have been a hygienist for 20 years.  In that time I have cared for many patients.  Care, skill and judgement are critical in my position .  Allowing dental assistants to perform scaling procedures is not in the best interest of patients!
