Patient oral health is our main goal. Supra and subcalculus is hard to mointor. Where there is supra there is subcalculus. Does the busy DDS take time to remove the subcalculus? Do you get the hygienist to remove the subcalculus? Do you reappoint the patient to remove the subcalculus? Or do you leave the subcalculus for six months which will cause periodontal problems? Why not let the RDH remove it all? We have 2-4 years of education and know how. This makes BETTER time control, BETTER production, BETTER profit and BETTER ORAL HEALTH AND SAFETY for the DENTAL PATIENT, WHICH IS OUR MAIN GOAL.
