I strongly disagree with allowing dental assitants to scale my teeth!  They have not had the proper trainging and education.  It sounds to me like Dr. Dentist is trying to save a buck and keep the money for themselves!  As usual the medical/dental industry is not about the patient anymore, it's about making MONDEY!  The patients are the ones who lose!
