Dentistry is making a mistake in taking this route to improving the income of the licensed personnel.  This is not new, the medical healthcare industry has already expanded roles of less prepared people.  The results are paid and repaid by the patients...Insurance companies are dictating what the health care provider is being paid for services rendered....This is where the battle should be fought, not conceded to a reduced level fo care.
