| Purpose of the meeting A public hearing to receive comments on the draft environmental assessment for the Virginia Tech-Montgomery Executive Airport proposed extension of Runway 12 and associated improvements. The public hearing is being hosted by the Department in conjunction with the Federal Aviation Administration and the Virginia Department of Aviation for purposes of compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act and State licensing requirements.
