| Purpose of the meeting Review recommendations set forth in the Virginia Energy Plan (VEP) as well as other reports and studies. Evaluate strategies for implementing recommendations of the VEP, including prioritization, approach, and timeline. Monitor implementation of the VEP. Identify additional energy policy options for the Commonwealth to address energy issues. Make other recommendations as may be appropriate. Public comment will be received at the conclusion of the meeting. Special accommodations for the disabled will be made available at the public meeting on request. Anyone needing special accommodations should contact the Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy at least seven days prior to the meeting or hearing date. | |
