This bill does nothing for the patient's safety and health or just convenience of service . It is a poor attempt at delivering oral health care in a very sub standard way. Consider the so called "healthy" patient who comes to the 6 months recare visit, who now has gingivitis with 4mm probe readings and bleeding...First , How is this situation to be identified? are you suggesting that the already busy DDS or RDH is going to stop what care they are providing to now evaluate this patient to find out that the DA should not be treating.... so, where does this leave the patient sitting in the chair as the office attempts to figure out who should be providing treatment????
I ask You ......
Does this really make sense for the access or delivery of care with the patient's best interest at Heart????
Thank you for allowing me to voice my opinion.
