Goals of Regulation To provide guidance regarding:
1)assessment of the needs of children and circumstances of the birth family or prior custodian within 60 days of acceptance of custody and every six months for as long as the child remains in foster care;
2)six month reassessments of additional efforts required or additional service needs of children and families to achieve the permanency goal or whether to select an alternate goal; and
3)assessment and reassessment resulting in changing the permanency goal to adoption.
