It is my wholehearted belief that passage of this proposal would be detrimental to mental health professionals in the Commonwealth of Virginia as well as constituents that depend on the quality provision of services. In particular, the proposal invites vast room for inconsistencies in provider qualification and interpretation of competence. In addition, this proposal would unfairly monopolize an important facet of health care services in the State. I strongly encourage you to consider the input of voting constituents and express opposition to this proposal.
