It is essential that we, as counselors, are able to band together and pass legislation, bills, etc that are good for our profession. Without unity and portability, we are severely hurting our cause and creating more strife. Is it perfect? No, but it is a step in the right direction. We must start advocating for portability, even if you never plan to move. It is the right thing to do.
