Please do not change the requirements regarding provider qualifications for psychiatric services.  Currently there are not sufficient mental health services in this state for people who are on Medicaid..   To not allow license eligible counselors and  social workers to provide services through Medicaid would further restrict access to services in an already underserved population.  It would also decrease valuable  training opportunities.   Please reconsider this decision.  To go froward with these changes would be harmful to the people of Virginia.
