Our forest aren't any different that the rest of Virginia in that the "right of th people" to protect themselves should not be taken for granted. Before this petition came into the news via the newspapers I did not know that there was a regulation against carring my handgun for personal protection. Please approve the petition so that I can protect myself and my family when visiting the forests and parks.
