I support the petition to allow personal protection firearms on state forest land and property,

especially those private citizens that have received the state concealed carry permit.

The government of the state of Virginia has directed how and when a citizen of Virginia may

obtain a concealed carry permit. The Supreme court has affirmed that possesion of a firearm

for personal use is a right of the individual citizen.  Therefore, how can the state say no to 

a citizen who wants to carry a legal firearm for his/her protection, especially a citizen who

has taken the required training and personal time to obtain a state regulated - concealed 

carry permit.  

This is my personal opinion.
