I have been working for veterinary practices for over 35 years and see the need for our trained assistants/nurses to be able to place a catheter in arm/leg as long as it is performed under the supervision of a veterinarian.

Truthfully, I feel that some of the assistant/nurses do a better job then some licensed techs.
