IV starts

I think it is very reasonable to have properly trained individuals start IV's for the animals. I am a RN and know that at times it is essential to have immedate fluids to the serverly injured or dehydrated-if you have to wait it could be detrimental. Starting an IV is not difficult with the proper training. As long as those individuals receive and demonstrate their knowledge of such-it should be allowed.
