This does not take away thing from the RN but helps them. I believe that well trained vet assistant should be allowed to place I've catheters, this skill will not devaule an lvt's education. virginia.gov Agencies | Governor Virginia Regulatory Town Hall Search the TownHall Submit Search Options Home > Find a Regulation Regulatory Activity Actions Underway Petitions Legislative Mandates Periodic Reviews General Notices Meetings Guidance Documents Comment Forums Sign in State Agency Registered Public Sign up Agency Department of Health Professions Board Board of Veterinary Medicine chapter Regulations Governing the Practice of Veterinary Medicine [18 VAC 150 ? 20] Previous Comment Back to List of Comments 5/24/17 6:44 pm Commenter: Jennifer Carrington vet tech student Support In human medicine, there are many different health care providers that are allowed to place iv's .
