Virginia needs to start thinking of the future. We need to start thinking of the present. Just because something brings the possibility of money does not excuse it from responsibility to the planet. It is imperative that we remember Virginia is still located on Earth, the only planet that can support the lives we have. We must respect the ground, air, water, plants, and other animals that coexist on this floating blue dot in the darkness of space. 

My main concerns pertain, but are not limited to; Keeping the bay clean, keeping our roads clear of litter, dump trucks lose more trash than they pick up, and recycling needs to be more accessible to the public.
