i believe that we should be able to carry in the state parks just for the simple fact that our concealed permit says "State of Virginia" on it.  not "State of Virginia with the exception of state parks".  thats ridiculous considering the amount of crime that tends to happen on dark roads that arent patrolled regularly.  especially in the mountains and parks.  i believe EVERY individual has the right to defend themselves and their families wether its in a parking lot in alexandria to a campground in Luray.  besides, whats the real harm??  its the old saying "its better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it".
